Hello all, can anyone help us out please & furnish me with the song titles for the Soho Roses album, seen as I've never had them in all these years.

Some person has been flogging their songs on eBay for a while now but you can quite clearly see the titles from here:

Now if anyone had a Soho Roses video??? That would get me really excited as I never saw the guys although I know one or two maybe check in here regularly.

You can ask him yourself when he shows up. Paul Blittz is a reagular on these boards. When you see the name "Blittz" here, it is him.

As for titles, you would need to get somebody you copy, as in recent years, the true tracklisting has been complicated due to CD boots. Not only that, but people have basically also made up titles for themselves. It has gotten a little tricky.

I just got a version from Homerslam that differs from mine in numerous ways. His is a combo of the singles, but the order is still different. MUCH Better sound than I have though! It rocks!

As I've pointed out before, all the versions on Ebay etc are bootlegs - the stuff about them being official is absolute bollocks. I can't blame people for buying them though, as we still haven't got off our arses and released the real thing on CD - yet. We HAVE located all of the mastertapes though and Andy intends to get it done as soon as he can find time. He's busy with his own studio and spends his time producing/engineering for other bands, so he just needs to find a suitable gap really. We were all motivated to get it done a few months ago, but the shock of Joolz's illness made it seem so unimportant and insignificant in comparison. It would be good though to get a good quality version out with a decent sleeve and loads of old photos etc (and maybe even our names spelt correctly - Patrice just LOVES being called 'Patrick'!) . The trouble is that we were always a disorganised bunch when we were together, so trying to organise anything now is pretty hard going.

For the time being though, the proper tracklisting is:

There were no official videos I'm afraid, although I know that a couple of people filmed gigs. I've actually got a video of our last gig (Marquee June '89). It's pretty poor quality - just shot with a single camcorder from the balcony - but it's totally raucous and shambolic, and manages to display the spirit of the band. Someone spoke to me about editing/tweaking it and transferring it to DVD recently, so watch this space...

And there's nothing unusual whatsoever about having a fight with Steevi J - I think that half the people I knew back in those days had a fight with him!

Please get this tranferred onto DVD!! Even if it was only in small quantities, it would disappear on this Board like shit off a hot shovel. Any idea when this could possibly happen?
